I suppose everyone has that sort of game they feel most at home in. People are really overestimating how long they will be playing that :), it has 3 classes and each class can either be support or damage for their ultimate skills. PVP is a joke there tbh, not that its any better in warframe currently.BUT in Destiny you can see the players(even if standing still) on the minimap, i mean.really ? You can also destroy vehicles with rifle bullets pretty easily. Hell, DE might even see that there are more PC guys on and we might actually get more PC friendly features(im looking at you UI), if anything Destiny's coming is a good thing for PC warframe :) Those who leave will come back and whine some more about how they missed all the good prime access items again and will say it was "unfair", just watch. Warframe will continue on trucking since it's supported by the PC community anyway. So, it's better to have less numbers but stable.īasically PS4 people are going to burn themselves out on Destiny because.well, there are no other decent games on PS4 haha. When it comes out every player in the entire world was playing it. The important thing is to continuously attract players, both new and old. So, the important thing, I repeat, isn't to be the ONLY absolute game that everyone play. On the contrary, generally players play more than one game simultaneously or pass from one to another continuously (I do the same thing, for example I play Warframe for N months then move to another game for M months, and the return to Warframe). And these transfers aren't always irreversible. It's not a serious thing that players move from one game to another. That doesn't mean to please us all, but to give us good contents and something. HOWEVER, for sure DE will need to take more care of their community. Personally, I don't think they will have the same approach as DE. But what about Bungie and Activision (especially Activision, I don't like what they did with Call of Duty)? I think that the reason for this kind of approach of DE with us is due to the fact that they need to engage us. Because it could also be a great game, but if it will have a big update every 6-12 months well, I'm not interested in.Īt the end, I'll see what kind of approach these Devs will have with their community. By now F2P games are everyday more popular, and I prefear to play for free and pay (eventually) for nice things.ĪND, I'll need to see how much care have thede Devs for their game. Maybe I will in the future, but just taking a quick look on the Internet, it looks a good game in terms of locations and so on (that is the most important part of a game, for me).īUT, I'll need to see how the game will evolve. On the other hand, it's bad because at the end everyone copy everything, games are very similar and it could happen that GREAT games fall into oblivion because their companies cannot affort to continue to develop.Ībout Destiny in general, I still don't try it. On one hand it is a great thing, because users (players) have a lot of choices. The difference was that Blizzard decided to concentrate on pc, Games Workshop on miniatures. It started a LOT of time ago, since when Blizzard copied Games Workshop creating Starcraft, that wasn't nothing more than a copy of the tabletop game Warhammer 40.000. All Sci-fi games (of every kind, from pc/xbox/ps games to tabletop wargrames) share the same stories, concepts and characteristics since over that 10-15 years.
